  1. Riffle/pool sequences in an entrenched Meandering channel on low slope relief
  2. High width/depth ratio

  • Entrenchment: Well entrenched < 1.4
  • Water Surface Slope/Gradient: < 2%
  • Dominant Substrate Particle Size: Predominantly cobble
  • Width/Depth Ratio: > 12
  • Sinuosity: > 1.4
