  1. Steep, narrow, step-pool Streams
  2. High energy/debris transport associated with Depositional soils, unstable banks

  • Entrenchment: Entrenched, Ratio < 1.4
  • Water Surface Slope/Gradient: 4-10%
  • Dominant Substrate Particle Size: Predominantly sand
  • Width/Depth Ratio: < 12
  • Sinuosity: < 1.2
