Fluvial Geomorphological AnalysisRosgen Level I and Level II analysis of the channel pattern, profile, and dimension was presented as one popular method for classifying Streams. Many of these earlier data are also needed for upper level geomorphological work of inferring channel dynamics, assessing stability, and completing channel restoration. This section will use watershed area, channel discharge, and channel geometry data to analyze how fluvial geomorphological characteristics scale within a channel and between channels, as well as to characterize the return interval or probability for Bankfull events. Specifically, this section will present regional geomorphological relationships for Bankfull flow, and channel geometry relationships for a range of flows as well as return interval analysis.
