  • Braided Channels
  • Longitudinal & Traverse Bars
  • Wide Channel
  • Eroding Banks

    • Note that D Streams are wide and shallow, and channels are optimal for transporting relatively coarse sediment and bedload. Islands form as central bars during flood flows.
