Launching ImageJ
Launching, or running, ImageJ after it is downloaded to your computer (previous page) is either completed by:
- A Opening the ImageJ folder and double-clicking on the ImageJ shortcut (a microscope with an arrow) or
- B Creating an ImageJ desktop icon. To create an ImageJ desktop icon, open the ImageJ folder, right-click on the ImageJ shortcut, drag it to the desktop, release the right mouse button, and select "Create Shortcut Here" from the popup menu. The ImageJ shortcut is the file you double-click to run ImageJ. Using the icon on your desktop, launch the ImageJ application.
If the ImageJ application does not start using one of the above options, then return to the previous page and make sure that installation was completed appropriately. If you are having problems, the most simple installation (C:\ImageJ) is best.
