Level III Field Parameters

Rosgen chart

Parameters for assessment of Stream stability include riparian vegetation, channel flow regime, channel debris, channel order, channel Depositional pattern, channel Meander pattern, and Streambank Erosion potential. Similar to Level II assessment, many field hours are needed to complete a Level III characterization. This section will describe some of the main field data, but recognizes that such data cannot be collected via this module.
