Stream Type DA

stream type

  • Low Gradient and Anastomosed
  • Braided Narrow and Deep Anastomosing Channels
  • Longitudinal and Traverse Bars
  • Wide Channel and Wetland Floodplain
  • Stable Banks
  • Note that DA Streams have similar Sinuosity and islands as D Streams, but are relatively narrow and deep compared to the wide and shallow D. They are more optimal for transporting relatively fine suspended sediment.
