Rosgen's Quantifiable Characteristics

Rosgen overview of classification

Rosgen classification is structured into four levels of analysis, the first three of which are explained in FGM Module Sections 5, 6, and 7. Prior to entering the four levels of analysis, the interested individual should conduct a site assessment of basin relief, Landforms, and Valley morphology to understand how these features influence the watershed and affect the drainage network.
