Noting Human Modification of Rivers

River

River modifications, such as this high Sinuosity fish passage, should be noted when visiting the field or viewing images of a waterway. Note how modifications replicate and depart from patterns, profiles, and dimensions of the regional river Reaches. Consider how the human modifications will influence river dynamics of flood extent and routing and how they might change under several Bankfull flow episodes.
